For those seeking enrollment for the fall of 2024 we recommend submitting an application now and touring the school at your earliest convenience as we accept students in the order in which applications are received. (Tours may be scheduled through the links at the bottom of this page.)
Thank you for your interest in the Enfield Montessori School.
Our admissions process is simple:
1. Schedule an optional tour with our office.
2. Submit a completed application with the application fee.
Our faculty and staff feel that all children are suitable for admission, and that a diverse student body enriches and strengthens both the individual and the school, the exception being severe disabilities that the school does not have the resources to meet. In the event of space limitations, applications are considered in the order they are received with acceptance preference given to siblings and children of alumni.
Children entering the Toddler and Primary Programs are not tested or interviewed. Children entering the Elementary Program will be invited to spend time in a Montessori classroom for evaluation prior to acceptance.
If your child is older than 5 years of age, please call the school at (860)745-5847 prior to submitting an application to check for space availability and enrollment requirements.
Acceptance letters for Primary and Elementary students are mailed in April for enrollment for the following school year. When individual classes reach their capacity, children may be added to the waiting list.
The admissions process assures that those students who enroll, given the school’s mission, are likely to benefit from their experience at the school. Our faculty and staff believe that a Montessori education is for all children, that every child is unique with a particular potential and that given the proper environment and encouragement, that potential can be developed and realized.
